"I was a 20+ year minister and Olivia was a therapist. Neither of us come from a traditional sales background and we wanted a system that worked for us that is not "salesy".

TEAM LEADERS: Willis & Olivia Adair

Will and Olivia were born and raised in North Carolina. They met and married in Wilmington, NC where they now reside. They have hearts for people and served in various ministries before entering the insurance industry. Will's transition into insurance occurred after his dad unexpectedly died and he was looking for employment during Covid. He learned about the industry why helping his mom collect on his dad's policy. He wanted to create a better insurance company and that gave birth to the Adair Agency.

Will was attracted to the flexibility in the insurance industry and working 100% remotely, that it pays well, and offers career advancement opportunities with flexibility for life outside of work. His wife homeschools and the flexibility allowed them to move recently to Wilmington, NC to help take care for a member of Olivia's family.

"One of the other things we wanted was genuine integrity in business partners." Will met Dan Barnes that introduced Will to Symmetry Financial Group, founded by Brandon Ellison and Casey Watkins. "I figured that if even half of what was in Dan's video was true then we could make a decent living as a Symmetry partner-- or I'd know this was not the career for me. It has been a humbling and awesome experience to grow to be one of the top producers in the agencies of which I am a part."

AGENCY OWNERS: Dan & Christine Barnes

Dan became an agency owner in 2023 while working a full-time career in IT. He retired from his IT career to work full-time as a partner in Symmetry Financial Group after being part time since August of 2018.

Dan and Christine have lived in Texas for 25+ years. They have been married for over 22 years, have two twin daughters starting college, and a son that works part-time at Symmetry. Dan's experience in technology, sales, and leadership have made him to create a team that champions mortgage protection, debt from freedom and life insurance.

Dan and Christine have seen the loss of a loved one with no protection and the toll that takes on a family for the rest of their lives. This has made them passionate to help the families that we call and serve each week and to build a team of like-minded team members who want to build their legacy as well.

Success at Symmetry is built in large part by determining the path that will take you to where you want to be. Marty Valor had been a business owner in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for years but did not have the balance that he longed for his family. His wife Hillary worked in cooperate America and where they had much of the American dream, it was not the right fit for their young family.

Marty was invited by their neighbor Ben Seifipour to a poker game. It was at that game that Marty shared his frustration with his brick-and-mortar store. Ben asked him had he ever considered working in the insurance industry. Marty decided to take a chance on himself and got licensed and began selling life insurance. It was during the Covid-19 pandemic that he shifted to pioneering a path to digital sales.

It was during this period that Marty's agency grew as he brought in new agents that worked part and full time. "I was able to retire my wife, build and truly own my agency, and spend more time with my family. I have the work/life balance everyone is looking for and I’m building a legacy for my family." The Valors are now direct to the company, senior vice presidents, and along with our partners of Dan and Christine are building a legacy for each of our families.
